We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to assist with the intake of new tax clients. This is an hourly support role — no prior tax preparation experience is required. The ideal candidate thrives on structure, enjoys checklists, and takes pride in keeping workflows efficient and accurate.
? Organize client intake process: Collect and track tax documents from new clients, prepare engagement letters and proposals, and answer client or potential client calls when needed.
? Maintain accurate records: Ensure all information is properly logged, filed, and updated in client systems.
? Coordinate communication: Schedule calls, send reminders, and follow up on missing information.
? Support workflow efficiency: Keep tasks on track and flag potential issues promptly.
? Assist with administrative tasks: Filing, scanning, and organizing digital files and correspondence.
? Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail.
? Proactive and dependable, able to anticipate needs and follow through.
? Comfortable with structured processes and checklists.
? Strong communication skills (email, phone, text).
? Proficient with basic computer tools (Excel, Word, cloud storage).
? Reliable and punctual, with a consistent focus on accuracy.
? Pay: $25–$27 per hour.
? Schedule: Seasonal, in-office position running February 1 – April 30 and August 15 – October 31.
? Hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 3–4 days per week.
? Training provided — no prior tax experience required.
? Potential to grow or stay on beyond the tax season for the right candidate.
